For those interested, below is the status we just received today May 21, 2021 from the construction manager handling our pool renovation project:
“We have cleaned and sealed the pavers this week. We will be prepping the pool the next few days and applying the new pool finish next week. The pool will start filling towards the end of next week. Once full, it will take about 5 days or so to balance the water chemistry. We are hoping to have the pool open in two weeks. Thank you”
As to the cause of the delay , we had also previously requested an explanation and received the following several days ago (prior to the message above):
“I do apologize for the delay of the project. We did experience some staffing issues throughout the project due to covid. We are also experiencing product shortages and delays as are most businesses right now. The project is moving forward and we are working to get the pool back open for the residents. Thank you and have a good day.”
